Experience & EDUCATION
Since 2016, Sarah has been the Human Resources Director at Bank of Central Florida. Prior to joining the Bank of Central Florida team, Sarah spent ten years working in human services. Sarah has utilized her passion, drive, and vision to implement programs and policies to benefit the bank. Sarah’s work has resulted in an employee wellness program, team building exercises, recruitment and retention strategies, and improvements to employee culture. Sarah draws on her twelve years of management experience when solving employee relation situations.
Since 2021, Sarah has served as a Mentor with the bank’s Women’s Mentoring Program. Sarah earned her MBA from Southeastern University in 2015 and completed her SHRM-CP certification in 2017. In 2020, she received the United Way of Central Florida’s Employee Coordinator of the Year award for medium-sized businesses. Outside of work, Sarah has volunteered her time with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Tampa Bay and EMERGE Lakeland, a young professionals organization. She served as Chair of EMERGE Lakeland in 2021.
