John Haney

Plant City Advisory Board Chair

John Haney is the President & Managing Broker for Ace Realty & Auction LLC in Plant City, Florida. He is a 4th generation Plant City resident and has been in the real estate business for over 20 years. 

During his career, John has specialized in the sale of commercial real estate. Regularly the top producing commercial real estate broker in the Plant City area, John has sold property in all 67 Florida counties, 41 states and five foreign countries. 

John is heavily involved in the community and has served in many roles, including the City of Plant City Planning Board, Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors. 

John is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a degree in Business Administration. He is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker and Certified Auction Ringmaster. In his spare time, John enjoys spending time on the water and raising cattle along with his wife Amy and son Ryan, 14.

Mike Jemison

Plant City Advisory Board

Mike has lived in West Central Florida for over 35 years; he has an extensive background in the construction and development of both residential and commercial properties throughout West Central and Southwest Florida. Mike began his professional career in the field of construction as a superintendent building custom homes and swimming pools in the early 90’s; he has expertise in land acquisition, Real Estate development, residential/commercial construction and Real Estate sales, acquisition and negotiation. 

Mike cofounded Solution Source with his wife Shelley in January of 2010, he is responsible for key company operations including strategic planning, marketing, business development and construction operations.

Michael holds a State of Florida Certified General Contractors License and a Certified Roofing Contractors License as well as a Florida Real Estate License. He currently holds board positions with the Plant City Economic Development Corporation where he sits on the Executive Committee, the Greater Tampa YMCA where he serves on the Plant City Advisory Board as well as the Plant City High Schools Business Advisory Board. 

Mike also holds the position of Florida General Manger for Punchlist USA, a national home improvement and repair company. As well as Real Estate Associate at Ace Realty and Auction. 

Mike has deep roots in agriculture as well; he grew up on a farm in the South where his grandfather raised cattle and farmed crops like watermelons, soybeans, cotton and corn. Mike remains involved in agriculture and raises beef cattle on his farm in Plant City

Mike and Shelley have been married for 32 years; they have four children, seven grandchildren and a small Maltese named Oliver who likes to go everywhere with them. Along with spending time on the farm Mike is an avid hunter and he and Shelley enjoy offshore fishing and traveling.

Nate Davis

Nate Davis is president of Florida Mortgage Firm, one of the largest mortgage brokerages in Florida by volume. The Florida Mortgage Firm provides residential purchase and refinance loans through the wholesale brokerage channel.

Previously a U.S. Marine, Nate has experience as a Lean Six Sigma Process Analyst at GEICO. Today, Nate remains active in the community through rental investing within the local real estate market.

David Sullivan

Plant City Advisory Board

David Sullivan is an experienced banking and business professional with over four decades in the industry. He started his career at First Florida Bank in 1981, later becoming the senior loan officer at Valrico State Bank. Mr. Sullivan then served as area president for SouthTrust Bank, moving on in 1997 when he became a founding officer and Senior Executive Vice President & Senior Loan Officer of Platinum Bank until 2017.

Mr. Sullivan, along with banking, invested his knowledge into entrepreneurship, owning two Subway franchises in Plant City, selling them in 1998 when he opened his first franchised HTeaO in Lakeland, to which he recently opened a second HTeaO location in Lithia.

Jeremy Burris

Jeremy Burris

Jeremy Burris specializes in Commercial Insurance for all lines of coverages and various industries including agribusiness, construction, real estate, manufacturing, and aviation. He is a third generation Plant City Native and enjoys giving back to his community.

Formerly the Vice President of Sales at Wish Farms, Jeremy moved on to Colorful Harvest as Vice President of Sales and Sourcing. He began his current career at Florida Insurance Center in 2015 where he is now Partner and Agency Vice President. 

Jeremy is involved in his community. He is a past State FFA Vice President, past President of the Plant City Rotary Club, active member of the Plant City Elks Lodge, and has served on numerous boards and committees in Plant City. 

Jeremy graduated from the University of Florida in 2000 and received his MBA from Southeastern University in 2009. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Erica Burris, and their four children: Grace, Logan, Linley and Drake. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, college football and spending time with his family and friends.

Kristen Hitchcock

Kristen Hitchcock is the Chief Financial Officer at Parkesdale Farms, Inc. and Parkesdale Packing & Cooling, Inc., where she has been instrumental in driving financial strategy and operations for the past five years, contributing to a total of 13 years with the company. Kristen's career spans over two decades in the agriculture industry, with previous experience at FBCH/One More Child, where she served for six years, and Lakeland Christian School, where she worked for two and a half years.

Kristen holds a BA in Interpersonal Communications from the University of South Florida and an MBA from Southeastern University. She is also a Certified Fund-Raising Executive and holds a Certificate in Fund Raising Management. In addition, she is a proud member of Class XII of the Wedgworth Leadership Institute for Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Beyond her professional commitments, Kristen is deeply involved in her community. She has volunteered with numerous organizations, including One More Child, Redemption Church, Casa David in Guatemala, the Florida Strawberry Festival, and the GFWC Junior Women’s Club. She also serves as a Board Member of the Florida Strawberry Growers Association (FSGA), Treasurer of the FFA Alumni of Lakeland High School, President of the Lakeland High School Parent-Teacher Partnership (PTP), and Chair of the School Advisory Council (SAC) committee.

Kristen is a devoted wife and mother, sharing her life with her husband Brett and their children Hunter, Hannah, Hailey, and Hayden. In memory of her son Hayden, Kristen runs a marathon every year in his honor.
