A blustery evening in advance of cooler temperatures was no match for the warm welcome and hospitality provided by CEO Paul Noris, Market Executive Lauren Fernandez, and their team at the Grand Opening of the new Tampa office on Thursday, January 26. Guests, including clients, board members, community leaders and friends arrived early and stayed throughout most of the two-hour celebration at 1 North Dale Mabry.
Situated at the northeast corner of Dale Mabry Highway and Kennedy Boulevard, the new office is at a prime location in Tampa offering easy access from all directions. “For the past year, our Tampa Bay team has been operating by appointment-only on the third floor,” said CEO Paul Noris. “We are now excited to welcome all clients to this beautiful new first-floor office and appreciate the warm welcome we have received from the Tampa community, as evidenced by the great turnout for our grand opening.”
Among those in attendance were Shane Smith, PhD and Tara Moody, the incoming board chair and chair-elect for the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce. Both expressed their excitement about the expansion of Bank of Central Florida in this key location. Also on hand to celebrate the big news were Jo-Lynn Brown, Managing Editor of Tampa Bay Business & Wealth Magazine and Christina Georgacopoulos, Business & Finance Reporter for the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
With state legislators in Tallahassee for committee meetings, Sunshine Buskirk, Senior Legislative Aide, was there to extend congratulations on behalf of State Senator Jay Collins. The Westshore Alliance, a local advocacy group focused on issues important to the business community, ranging from modern transportation to marketing and beautification, was represented by Executive Director, Michael Maurino.
“We are very proud of our Tampa Bay team,” said Lauren Fernandez, Tampa Bay Market Executive, “and look forward to serving our clients from this wonderful new location.” Click HERE to learn more about our full-service Tampa Bay banking team.
