Jen and Elsie walk side-by-side in our recent EQUIP commercial.
In 2013, Elsie Augenblick and her husband, John, moved to Lakeland. At the time, Elsie had a lot on her plate. John's health had begun to decline; Elsie had to manage their joint finances, navigate their extended family relationships, and take care of him. She needed a one-on-one meeting to sift through all the details and documents, and she needed someone to help her make the right choices on her financial journey.
Elsie's previous bank didn't take the time to understand her situation. She needed help with the details of her personal banking, but didn't know where to turn.
That's when she met Jennifer Adams, longtime Bank of Central Florida Professional Banking Officer and Senior Relationship Manager.
"Jen looked at my information, gathered all my necessary documentation, and said, 'Don't worry about it,'" said Elsie. "She took care of everything."
Jen was committed to making things as easy as possible for Elsie as she treated her husband's illness and managed familial responsibilities. When things got worse for John over the years, Jen always checked in with Elsie and asked how she could help.
Bank of Central Florida offers a human experience, with individualized person-to-person assistance. Each client is paired with a specific Relationship Manager for their needs to ensure they have a direct point-of-contact.
When Elsie's husband John passed away in 2019, Elsie's banking team showed up for her. "Every experience with Bank of Central Florida has been like family," Elsie reflected. "Bank of Central Florida offers an outreach not many businesses still do."
"Jen has been more than a Banker," said Elsie. "She has been an advisor, an empathetic ear, and a heart that reached out and became one of friendship."
When Professional Banking client Elsie Augenblick experienced life changes, our Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager Jennifer Adams walked alongside her to help her achieve her goals.
